Fancy Shmancy...

Saw this idea at convention this year.  It one of our white gift bags.  I simply cut the upper half of the sides and scalloped the edges to create the look of sleeves.  Decorated the front and voila you got a fancy smancy gift bag.  I also make a cute card that my kids drew and signed off on.

Have any questions...don't hesitate to hollar!

Scrapbooking anybody?

[caption id="attachment_251" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Flight of the Butterfly Set"]You are so Special![/caption]

I get so carried away at times with card making I forget to get back to my basics with scrapbooking.  I truly love to do it.  There was a time where I would almost get sick thinking about starting my scrapbook let alone finishing one.  Yes the true VIRGO in me just couldn't handle the fact the colors didn't match exactly or a stamp was not coordinated with the patter paper. Yadda yadda.

The the answer to my dreams and my crazy desire to have everything perfectly perfect is Stampin' UP! They saved me!!!  Yep..their ink matches their cardstock, designer series paper, ribbons...etc.  They have 48 colors PLUS 6 in-colors that are around just for this year (June 09).   Besides the previous fact now they take it even further.   Their NEW partnership with Sizzix now even those dies coordinate with alot of their products.  I could go on forever!!!

MY guess work is DONE!  I know what matches with what and whom and I can whip up a page in no time!  Oh and if you use their Simply Scrappin Kits.  Well then you just saved yourself a whole bunch of time and you can do so much with them.

Have any questions on what the heck I'm talking about...write a comment below and I'll get back to you.

Another Baby???

Couldn't resist this card I love it!  Got the 5 petal punch to SHEEP idea Dawn Griffith's blog...amazing ideas there. IF you haven't figured out already take the 5-Petal Punch and cut off the lower part of the flower just two petals (leaving 3 petals behind). The 3 petals are the head/ears of the sheep and the 2 petals are the feet.  I used the circle scallop for the sheep's body and the handy dandy crop-a-dile to make the embossed circles on the bottom of the card. A bit of paper piercing, Bella Rose Designer Paper, white gel pen eyes and some pink grosgrain ribbon (which I pulled apart & got that idea from Gretchen Barron's blog) and we have a nice baby card!  It could be a baby thank you or even a baby shower invite.  I will be showcasing this card in one of my upcoming classes. Interested?  Email or comment below. However if you are long distance and would like to make this yourself...

I am packaging materials for you to make 10 of these cards. It will include all the card stock and the ribbon.  All you have to do is punch, stamp, stick and your done!  Need more supplies that's easy too, just send me an email.

Thanks for browsing...make it a Great Stamping Day!

Email me HERE and let me know if you'd like to purchase a card set. Have any questions or need a particular item...just hollar.

This is where it comes from...

This is where all that wonderful product is shipped from.  I just wanted to run and grab what I could and run for it.  Of course being somewhere near Salt Lake City and having no sense of direction wouldn't have gotten me very far.  :)  Anyhoo it was simply amazing to see it.  Enjoy the view..

Tangerine Tango...love it!

Here is a little something I made form my convention swaps.  I used the new Tangerine Tango cardstock with Apricot Appeal.  The bag is made simply by using 2 square and circle punches, layering them and adding a brad to hold it together.  Didn't have any Tangerine Tango ribbon so I dyed the white grosgrain ribbon.  Added a distressed look by sponging some more Tangerine Tango to the ends of the whisper white.  I hope you like this.  By the way this is using a new set coming out in our new Fall/Winter Idea Book.
