I'm on my way....

Cloudy DayWE just got back from Cape May, NJ. We absolutely love it there...so much so we keep going back!  The kids had fun and of course it coulda been just a bit longer.  We missed one beach day because of the weather.  It was a bit scary actually.  But I had to come back only to leave again.

The countdown is over and I'm off... probably flying to Salt Lake City, Utah as we speak.  I'm excited to be lucky enough to be going to Stampin' Up!'s convention.   I've packed my bags.  Done with my swaps.  Given my DH the kids' schedule.  And yet when it rains it pours...my little one has a fever.  Rushed her to the pediatrician yesterday ...just a cold.  Gosh it's so hard to leave them and now she's sick. :(  She will be in very good hands though.

I hope you are all ready for an exciting stamping season.  I will come back with tons of ideas and samples. Don't forget to chime in the previous post.  Add your comment and let me know what your favorite new In-Color and why.  You'll be in the running for a Surprise Freebie!

I can't believe it but I'm going to SU!'s Convention :) wish me luck!

Bye for now.

Make it a great Stamping Day!

It's hip to be SQUARE! :)

Here is a card I made using mostly punches.  I was thinking of doing this for my sons birthday as a "craft" for his party.  Super easy he actually made his own right after this one.  I used Stampin' Up! products of course.  Yo-Yo yellow, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Whisper White, and Tempting turquoise.  I used the 1/4", 1/2" and 1 1/4" circle punches for his eyes. Hope you likey!

Camp is OVER :(

Hi ya'll hope your summer is going well.  It is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!  My kids went to day-camp for the first time this year and they loved it!  Today is their last day. {sniff}  I'm kinda looking forward to next month so we can do things without a schedule.  You know of course by end of August, however, I'll be counting the days for school to start.

Here is a pic of what kept me busy last night.  I purchased some notepads from the dollar store and decorated them using Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, and Whisper white cardstock.  In addition, I had some leftover rub-ons from sale-a-bration gotta love those.  I used round punches, my round scallop punch and the new scalloped punch.  Add in a few rubber stamps ie. Lovely letters, Ginormous Flowers, and All Holidays. Plus one gift card and TA-DA a nice gift for their counselors.  I had fun making them.  Will post more pics of others later.

Make it a great Stamping Day!
